Viola coach Vincenzo Montella has called for caution ahead of his side's final match of 2013 away to Sassuolo tomorrow. Speaking during his pre-match press conference on Saturday, he warned: "They're very hard to play against from a tactical point of view. They drew against Roma and Napoli, they beat Sampdoria away… they're a very dangerous team."

Montella was also asked to assess his own team's progress so far this season. He replied: "I don't want to think about weighing things up at this stage, I want to concentrate on what will happen tomorrow."

The coach went on to discuss a few of his players individually: "Gomez can help take us up to another level. Pizarro? He trained with the team today. He has this back problem that keeps coming back every now and then, that's all."
