MASSIMILIANO ALELGRI TO THE MILAN CHANNEL: “We have to start the year in the best way possible”

MILAN – Massimiliano Allegri spoke exclusively to the Milan Channel prior to this afternoon’s press conference at the Milanello sports centre:
"Eusebio was one of the greats and I send my condolences to his family. Atalanta are a well-organized side and they’re doing well this season. It’s an important game for us and we can’t forget that we have only 19 points on the table. Rami has been here for a couple of months now and is training well but it’s unlikely he’ll play tomorrow. He’s a player that we’ll be relying on a lot just like Honda. Honda is a great player with great technique. We’ll see what kind of shape he’s in even though we know he’s been training all the time.”“We’ve done nothing so far. The league position makes us cry. We have to learn from our mistakes and put them to one side. We have to start in the best way possible and stay attentive as they have good players up front. We can’t afford any more mistakes. Cristante is still a teenager and young players will grow going through good and bad periods. The squad will probably be cut down a bit as we have a lot of players. Pazzini is a player that we’ve missed a lot as last season he was the only striker who scored goals throughout the season. We’ve missed his goals as we have Matri’s. We’re expecting goals from Alessandro.”
