ACF Fiorentina can provide the following medical updates regarding Ambrosini, Aquilani, Rebic, Tomovic and Gomez.
Massimo Ambrosini is suffering from Achilles tendinitis, which causes him difficulty when taking part in normal sports activities. He will visit a specialist in the next few days.
Alberto Aquilani picked up a Grade I hamstring strain during Saturday’s match against Cagliari. He has begun a recovery programme and is expected to remain sidelined for approximately two weeks.
Ante Rebic is suffering from metatarsalgia in his big toe and will have physiotherapy over the coming week.
Medical tests carried out on Nenad Tomovic revealed that he has made progress in recovering from his knee sprain. He will therefore continue his rehabilitation by following a personalised programme on the pitch for the next 10 days.
Mario Gomez has completed his rehabilitation and will resume full training with the rest of the squad on Wednesday.
