🏆👉 Atalanta achieved their mission by winning the UEFA Europa League Group Stage game on Thursday 9 November 2023 at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo, Italy. Many concrete opportunities for the Orobic team, but only one goal which in the end was enough to win and consolidate their lead in the group.  The goal was scored by Berat Djimsiti.   Atalanta wore the black armband in memory of their former player Giorgio Veneri.

Mathematically, Atalanta already qualified for the Round of 16 with 10 points and 2 games to spare.  In the first leg, the third day of the Europa League group stage, the two teams drew 2-2, with Muriel the protagonist among the Orobic ranks.

Atalanta opened the score in the 50th minute. Berat Djimsiti defeated Sturm Graz goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen with a left-footed shot to the top right corner following a corner conceded by David Schnegg.
