This is it, game is over. The Europa League dream for Lazio is over. Lazio are eliminated after losing against Sparta Prague in the Europa League Round of 16 Second Leg at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium. The first leg ended with a 1-1 draw. The final aggregate result is Lazio 1 – 4 Sparta Prague. A sour defeat for Lazio …. sad day for Italian football.
Bad news for Lazio. Sparta Prague just opening the score in the 10th minute. It’s midfielder Borek Dockal to score defeating Lazio goalkeeper Federico Marchetti with a left footed shot in the bottom left corner. It’s now an uphill battle as the aggregate result is 1-2.
Ooops…. say what! Lazio surprised again! Sparta Prague increasing the score just two minutes after the first goal! This is just inconceivable to see Lazio’s defense out of control.
