Italian Soccer Serie A wishes  Hirving “Chucky” Lozano a successful season in Italy with his new team Napoli.  The official announcement was made on Friday 23 August 2019.   Lozano  has been transferred from PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands to Napoli  with a five-year contract  transfer fee of  €42 million Euros including add-ons.  Lozano is also a regular called up player for the Mexican National Team.    Welcome to Italy Chucky Lozano!

The transfer of Lozano breaks three records:

  • Hirving Lozano becomes Napoli’s most expensive signing.  The previous record was for Argentinean forward Gonzalo Higuaín from Real Madrid
  • It’s the largest fee received by PSV Eindhoven for a player (previously the transfer of forward Memphis Depay to Manchester United in 2015.)
  • This is the highest transfer fee paid for a Mexican player (previously Raúl Jiménez from Benfica to Premier League team Wolverhampton Wanderers).
