The Italian Referee Association (AIA) has designated Referee Luca Pairetto from the section of  Nichelino for the Coppa Italia Round of 16 on Tuesday 10 January 2017 at the San Paolo Stadium at 21:00.   Pairetto will be assisted by Salvatore Longo from the section of Paola and Luca Mondin from the sectio of Treviso.  The fourth official will be Maurizio Mariani  from the section of Aprilia.

• Referee Luca Pairetto is at his first season in Serie A after four years in Serie B.
• Pairetto having 13 presences in Serie A and 78 in Serie B.   His debut in Serie A was in Livorno-Cagliari 1-1 on 25th September 2013
• Pairetto has refereed just one Napoli’s match:   Napoli-Verona 5-1 on 18th May 2014.
• This year Pairetto has refereed 6 matches in Serie A and 2 in the Italian Cup, Atalanta-Cremonese 3-0 on 23rd August and Bologna-Verona 4-0 on December 1st.
