What a thriller and a cold shower.  Fiorentina causing an upset winning the Coppa Italia Round of 16 defeating Napoli at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Napoli, Italy. The challenge was valid for the first knockout round of the Italian Cup and ended 2-2 in regular time. The match then went into extra time, being a straight match, where Lorenzo Venuti, Krzysztof Piatek and Youssef Maleh scored the three goals of the viola for the final 5-2 in extra time.  A total of 3 players with red cards Dragowski, Lozano and Fabian Ruiz. Fiorentina qualifying to the Coppa Italia Quarterfinals  against Atalanta.

This is a superb victory for Fiorentina who had not beaten Napoli in official matches since 18 January 2020 when they won 2-0 in the Campania capital.
