In the 11th minute, Lazio had the chance to equalize for the 1-1. However, forward Ciro Immobile failed to convert a penalty conceded by Hysaj after a foul on Caicedo.
Referee Davide Massa gave a second yellow card to Elseid Hysaj in the 19th minute resulting in the automatic red card following a foul on Ciro Immobile. Napoli remaining with 10 players. In the 26th minute, Massa giving a red card to Lucas Leiva after a foul on Piotr Zielinskin leaving Lazio with 10 players.
