Hello my friends. Here are the results of the Serie A Week 32 – Thirty-second Round on Saturday 9, Sunday 10, and Monday 11 April 2016. We have only 6 more games to end the Serie A on 15 May with 18 points available. Mathematically speaking, the Scudetto is still open for Juventus and Napoli
It’s a chaotic round for some teams, but also a good one for others. A super week for Juventus seeing the “5th Consecutive Scudetto” almost a reality after defeating AC Milan at the San Siro Stadium. Juventus is the absolute leader of the Serie A reaching now 76 points and a positive goal difference of +41. Juventus having a lead of +6 points above Napoli holding the second position with 70 points and a positive goal difference of +39 after defeating Hellas Verona at the San Paolo Stadium. AC Milan now risk failing the season on their quest to reach the 3rd position. Milan remain in the 6th position with 49 points and AS Roma holding the 3rd position have 63 points.
Bad news is for Fiorentina because not only they lost the Tuscan Derby against Empoli, but also lost the 4th position going down to the 5th position. Good news is for Inter because after defeating Frosinone, Inter jumped from the 5th to the 4th position reaching now 58 points and Fiorentina remaining with 56 points. Inter defeated Frosinone thanks to the goal by forward Mauro Icardi who celebrated his 100th game as an Inter player and scoring his 500th goal for Inter.
The super outcome is for the awaited debut of Lazio Coach Simone Inzaghi. Yep, Lazio crushed Palermo at the Renzo Barbera Stadium with a 0-3. The atmosphere so tense that some Palermo fans protested consistently forcing Referee Gervasoni to even stop the match twice. Palermo risking to be relegated to the Serie B remaining in the 18th position with 28 points. Pressure is high for Palermo because they will play the away game against Juventus next week at the Juventus Stadium. On paper, Juventus favorite to win, but we cannot rule out Palermo yet.
AS Roma vs Bologna ending with a 1-1 draw. It’s just a disappointment for Roma who were playing the home game at the Olimpico looking to win the match to claim the full 3 points. Yet, the outcome is divided 1 point each. Roma reaching 64 points are -6 points below Napoli.
The top scorer up to Round 32: Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain with 30 goals
