Hello my friends. Here are the Serie A RESULTS for Week 16 on Thursday 18, Saturday 20, and Sunday 21 December 2014. These are the last games in 2014 as there is the Christmas break. Serie A will resume on Monday 5 January 2015.
Juventus ending 2014 as sole leader of the Serie A with 39 points after defeating Cagliari with a 1-3. Juventus commanding the Serie A and being the only Serie A team in Champions League. It’s a great way to end the year.
Juventus and Napoli will be traveling to Doha to play the Supercoppa Italia on Sunday 22 December.
AS Roma failing to defeat AC Milan at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium to keep a -1 point difference wit Juventus. The goalless draw keeps Roma in the 2nd position with a -3 points difference behind Juventus. AC Milan playing with 10 players since the 70th minute after Referee Rizzoli sent off defender Pablo Armero.
Chievo Verona ending with a happy note year 2014 by winning the Verona Derby after defeating Hellas Verona with the goal by forward Alberto Paloschi in the 81st minute.
Torino claiming a home victory at the Olimpido Stadium by defeating Genoa with the goals by defender Kamil Glik.
A tough lesson at the Atleti Azzurri D’Italia Stadium for Palermo. Palermo creating an upset by slapping Atalanta with 2 goals in the first half. Atalanta making a comeback in the second half to draw the match to a 3-3. One goal ruled out for Atalanta for offside.
