Udinese with the big challenge to climb to the leadership but they need to win  the Serie A Week 9 game against Atalanta on Sunday 9 October 2022 at the Dacia Arena in Udine, Italy.  A success in this match would bring Atalanta to 23 points, a result that in their history in Serie A they have never achieved before the 13th game played in a single season. Udinese shortened the distance in the 67th minute. Gerard Deulofeu defeated Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Sportiello with a right-footed free kick shot to the bottom left corner.

Udinese gaining momentum. In the 78th minute, there it is the equalizer goal for the 2-2. Nehuén Pérez scored from very close range with a headed shot to the high center. The assist is by Roberto Pereyra following a corner conceded by Giorgio Scalvini.
