Cagliari collapsed and lost the Serie A Week 8 game on Sunday 8 October 2023 at the Sardegna Arena in Cagliari, Italy. Roma got their second consecutive victory after beating Cagliari led by a great Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku, author of a great brace. After Houssem Aouar’s initial goal, the Belgian first beat Scuffet with the chest from close range. Andrea Belotti’s hat-trick validated by VAR. Cagliari have their honor goal in the 87th minute.  Nahitan Nández converted a penalty with a right-footed shot to the high center. The penalty is conceded by Bryan Cristante following a handball in the penalty area.
