Inter won the Serie A Week 7 game in grand style on Saturday 30 September 2023 at the Arechi Stadium in Salerno, Italy. Lautaro Martinez is the first player in the history of Serie A to score four goals coming off the bench. It’s a super performance by Lautaro.

After an intense first half, Inter attacked the match in the second half thanks to their striker. Lautaro came on in the 54th minute and took eight minutes to break the deadlock with a touch on Thuram’s assist. The Argentine conceded an encore with a volley from Barella’s cross, and scored the third goal of his evening thanks to the penalty awarded again by Thuram. In the final, the Nerazzurri number 10 also drops the poker by beating Salernitana goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa following Carlos Augusto’s suggestion from the left. Sixth victory in seven games for Inzaghi’s Inter, the negative streak continues for Sousa’s Salernitana.

Inter had full points before the unexpected home defeat against Sassuolo. The Nerazzurri have beaten Monza, Cagliari, Fiorentina, Milan and Empoli in order and arrive at Arechi with the aim of resuming their march towards the Scudetto. Uphill start for Paulo Sousa’s Granata, who is still looking for their first victory in the championship. Up to now, in fact, three draws and three defeats for the Campania team, the last of which in the last midweek round played against Empoli at the Castellani.

Inter opened the score in the 62nd minute. Argentinean forward Lautaro Martínez defeated Salernitana goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa with a right footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Marcus Thuram.

It’s again Lautaro Martínez to take care of business increasing the score for a 2-0 in the 77th minute.

Incredible! Lautaro Martínez scoring a hat-trick! Lautaro converted a penalty with a right footed shot. The penalty is conceded by Matteo Lovato after a foul on Marcus Thuram.

Well, what else to say? It had to be him, yes, only him: Lautaro Martínez scoring a poker!!
