AC Milan closer to claim the Scudetto after winning the Serie A Week 37 game against Atalanta on Sunday 15 May 2022 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.  AC Milan could finish a Serie A season with more than 80 points for the first time since 2010-11, when they last won the league title.  Milan pass the Atalanta test, climb to 83 points and are only one point from the Scudetto, even less if Inter does not win in Cagliari.

A tough defeat for Atalanta remaining in the eighth position at 59 and risk losing the European zone next season.

In the next and last round, AC Milan will be hosted by Sassuolo, while Atalanta will close at home against Empoli.

A:  If AC Milan beat Atalanta and Inter draw or lose in Cagliari: Milan 83, Inter 79 or 78. Scudetto will be for Milan with a game to spare

B:  If AC Milan draw with Atalanta and Inter lose in Cagliari: Milan 81, Inter 78. Scudetto for Milan with a game to spare

AC Milan opened the score in the 57th minute. It is forward Rafael Leão to defeat Atalanta goalkeeper Juan Musso with a right-footed shot to the center. The assist is by Junior Messias.

AC Milan increased the score for the 2-0 in the 75th minute. Theo Hernández delivered a bunch of joy to the fans in San Siro after his left-footed shot goal to secure the win.
