Napoli winning the Serie A Week 36 game defeating Sassuolo on Saturday 25 July 2020 at the San Paolo Stadium in Naples, Italy.  Napoli reaching 59 points winning their 17th game while Sassulo remain with 48 points losing their 14th game.   It is a sour defeat for Sassuolo scoring 4 goals and all 4 goals ruled out after consulting the VAR.

Napoli opening the score in the 8th minute. It is Elseid Hysaj to defeat Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner. The assist is by Piotr Zielinski.

Referee Aureliano ruling out a goal by Francesco Caputo in the 32nd minute because Filip Djuricic was offside.

Incredible, a second goal ruled out for Sassuolo in the 37th minute and again for offside. The goal was by Filip Djuricic but Traorè was offside when the action started. Referee Aureliano took the decision after consulting the VAR.

Wow, wow, and wow! Referee Aureliano ruling out a third goal for Sassuolo after consulting the VAR  because Francesco Caputo scores while Berardi was offside.

Surely, this is not a good day for Sassuolo seeing a fourth goal ruled out in the 62nd minute.

The final nail in the coffin happening in the 93rd minute. Napoli scoring for the 2-0 with Allan delivering a right footed shot in the bottom left corner. The assist is by forward Dries Mertens.
