Inter with a little bit of help shortened the distance for the 1-2 in the 40th minute. The own goal by Simone Romagnoli.

Inter equalized for the 2-2 in the 45th minute before ending the first half. Argentinean forward Lautaro Martínez with a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Hakan Calhanoglu.

Inter overturning the result and scored for the 3-2 in the 64th minute. It is again Lautaro Martínez to push Inter’s bandwagon believing in the victory.

Inter sealed the game in the 94th minute for the 4-2. It is Alexis Sánchez to score from very close range with a left-footed shot to the high center. The assist is by Arturo Vidal.

✅  Stats before the game. Empoli have lost their last eight Serie A meetings against Inter: they have never lost more top-flight matches in a row against a single opponent (also eight against Juventus between 2014 and 2019).  Inter and Empoli have never drawn a Serie A meeting in Milan: Inter have won 12 so far, Empoli only one, in January 2004, thanks to a last-minute goal from Tommaso Rocchi.
