Venezia equalized for the 1-1 in the 86th minute. Thomas Henry defeated Udinese goalkeeper Silvestri with a right-footed shot to the high center.

Udinese took the victory in the 94th minute with the goal by Rodrigo Becão.

Udinese won 3-0 this season’s reverse fixture against Venezia and could beat them home and away in the same Serie A season for the first time.  Udinese lost their last Serie A game against a newly-promoted side (1-3 against Empoli in December) – the last time they suffered consecutive defeats of this type in a single season in the Italian top-flight dates to May 2016 (four in a row).  Venezia have lost their last 5  Serie A games, while the last time they were defeated in six matches in a row in a single Serie A season was in June 1967 (seven in that case).  After their win over Cagliari, Udinese could win consecutive Serie A games for the first time since last September (one of the two against Venezia).
