Genoa living a nightmare after losing the Serie A Week 32 game defeated by Lazio on Sunday 10 April 2022 at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium in Genoa, Italy.   Genoa needed the victory to leave the relegation zone and dream with salvation.  Genoa broke their unbeaten record at home in five league games with 1 Win and 4 Draws losing this one.  Lazio trashed Genoa claiming full 3 points remaining within the European zone.  The hero is Lazio forward Ciro Immobile leading the bandwagon with a hat-trick.

Lazio opened the score in the 30th minute. Adam Marusic defeated Genoa goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu with a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Lucas Leiva.

Lazio increased the score for the 2-0 in the 45th minute before ending the first half. It is forward Ciro Immobile to score with a right-footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Manuel Lazzari.

The own goal by Patric shortened the distance for Genoa for the 1-3.
