Napoli with an important away game winning the Serie A Week 31 game defeating Genoa on Wednesday 8 July 2020 at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium in Genova, Italy.  Napoli winning their 15th game while Genoa losing their 16th game and remainig in the relegation zone.

Napoli opening the score in the 45th minute before ending the first half. It is forward Dries Mertens to defeat Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner. The assist is by forward Lorenzo Insigne.

Genoa equalizing for the 1-1. In the 49th minute, the goal by Edoardo Goldaniga defeating Napoli goalkeeper Meret with a headed shot in the bottom left corner. The assist is by Lasse Schöne with a cross following a corner conceded by Dries Mertens.

Napoli taking the lead again in the 65th minute. It is forward Hirving Lozano to score with a left footed shot in the top left corner. The assist is by Fabián Ruiz.
