Genoa defeated Torino with a 1-0 reaching 22 points.  The victory gave a ray of hope for salvation to remain in the Serie A next season.  Torino unable to win despite playing with an extra player since the 24th minute when Referee Maurizio Mariani sent off Leo Ostigard .
