Fiorentina failing to win their first game this season and settled for a goalless draw. Juventus also failing to keep the perfect score and grabbed only 1 point on Saturday 14 September 2019 at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy.  The positive aspect is that Fiorentina had a record attendance of 28,026 season tickets sold… that’s the highest total in the last 20 years.

We were expecting a thriller  between Fiorentina French forward Franck Rivery vs Juventus Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo.  Yet, neither Ribery nor Ronaldo could make a difference and the goals did not show up at the Franchi.  We might say it’s a flop for Juventus.  Tired? Tense?  And what about Fiorentina being at home and not winning…. flop for both.

Juventus step back after winning their first two game and now reach 7 points. Juventus need to archive this draw and now  boost the morale of the team ahead of the Champions League away game against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday 18 September.
