What a game at the Olimpico!   AS Roma crushing Sassuolo with a poker in the first half.  Roma winning the Serie A Week 3 game on Sunday 15 September 2019 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy.   It’s an important victory for the Roman gladiators winning their first game this season after getting 2 draws.  Roma reaching 5 points while Sassuolo remaining with 3 points.

The last time that Roma scored three goals in the first 22 minutes in the Serie A was back in January 2012 against Cesena. Another record in this game, Henrikh Mkhitaryan is the first Armenian to play for AS Roma, score with Roma and in the Serie A.   It is a dreamed debut for Mkhitaryan.

It is Roma to open the score in the 12th minute. Bryan Cristante defeats Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli from close range with a headed shot in the top right corner. The assist is by Lorenzo Pellegrini with a cross following a corner conceded by Consigli.

Sassuolo waking up and shortened the distance in the 53rd minute. It is forward Domenico Berardi to defeat AS Roma goalkeeper Pau Lopez with a left footed free kick shot in the top right corner.
