Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Inter, 2nd position with 58 points and a positive goal difference of +38
Torino, 11th position with 34 points and a positive goal difference of +5

Inter believe in the Scudetto grabbing a late goal.  Torino and Inter share 1 point each after ending the Serie A Week 29 with a draw on Sunday 13 March 2022 at the Olimpico di Torino Stadium in Turin, Italy.  A point each that brings Inter to 59 points, four points behind the leaders Milan with 63 points, but with a game to recover.  As it is, Inter stepped down to the 3rd position behind Napoli with 60 points.  Torino instead goes to 35. In the next round, the Torino will challenge Genoa, while Inter will play at home against Fiorentina.  Torino is the team with the greatest difference (+14) between the points earned at home (24) and those earned away (10) in this Serie A season.

A match full of emotions and scoring opportunities ends in a draw. Torino fought for the whole match and, after Bremer’s goal, almost doubled on several occasions, Inter struggled forward but in the recovery managed to find a draw with Sanchez.

Torino opened the score in the 12th minute. It is Bremer to defeat Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic from very close range with a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Tommaso Pobega following a corner conceded by Handanovic.

Inter equalized for the 1-1 in the 93rd minute. Alexis Sánchez saved 1 point defeating Torino goalkeeper Berisha with a right-footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Edin Dzeko.

Stats before the game.  Inter have won all of their last five league games against Torino, averaging 2.6 goals – in the previous five games against grenades in Serie A, the Nerazzurri had not achieved any success (3D, 2L).  Torino have only won two of their last 17 home games against Inter in Serie A (3N, 12P) and have failed to score 10 times in the period.  Torino have not won any of the last six league games (3N, 3P) with Ivan Juric; the last time the granata recorded a longer streak of matches without success in Serie A, with a single manager, was in December 2020, with Marco Giampaolo (eight in that case).  Inter have drawn all their last three away games in the league (v Atalanta, Napoli and Genoa); the last time the Nerazzurri got a longer streak of away draws in Serie A was in December 2004 (six in that case, with Roberto Mancini at the helm).   Challenge between the team that has earned the most points from a disadvantage in this league (Inter 17) and the one that has instead obtained the least once they are down in the score (Turin 4).
