Udinese with an important victory win the Serie A Week 28 game defeating Sampdoria on Saturday 5 March 2022 at the Dacia Arena in Udine, Italy.  Udinese finally winning after 4 years against Sampdoria, previously have lost their last two home games against Sampdoria in Serie A, having won three of the previous four (1D); the last time the Friulians recorded more home defeats against this opponent in the competition was between 1992 and 1997 (four).
