Empoli equalized for the 1-1 in the 39th minute. Szymon Zurkowski defeated Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny from very close range with a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner following a corner conceded by Arthur.

Juventus took the lead again in the 45th minute just before ending the first half. It is forward Dušan Vlahović to smack a left-footed shot to the center. The assist is by Juan Cuadrado.

✅  Stats before the game.  After the 1-0 victory in the first leg, Empoli could remain unbeaten for two consecutive matches in the same Serie A against Juventus for the second time in its history, after the 1998/99 season (1W, 1D) – the bianconeri do not lose their two seasonal matches against a newly promoted team from 2012/13 (v Sampdoria).
