Inter failed to win the Serie A Week 25 game ending with a draw against Napoli on Saturday 12 February 2022 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Napoli, Italy. Napoli (53) and Inter (54) sharing one point each.   Inter might lose the first position if AC Milan (52) defeat Sampdoria at the San Siro Stadium.  Good news for Inter is they still have the match against Bologna to recover. Napoli opened the score in the 7th minute. Referee Daniele Doveri gave a penalty to Napoli conceded by Stefan de Vrij after a foul on Victor Osimhen.   Forward Lorenzo Insigne converted the penalty defeating Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic with a right-footed shot to the bottom left corner.

Inter equalized for the 1-1 in the 47th minute.  Forward Edin Dzeko defeated Napoli goalkeeper David Ospina with a right-footed to the top right corner.
