Fiorentina and Lazio had the same points.  Breaking the stat is Lazio after winning the Serie A Week 24 game defeating Fiorentina on Saturday 5 February 2022 at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy.  It’s a sour defeat for Fiorentina considering it was a home game and also conceding an own goal.  Lazio reached 39 points. Fiorentina conceded another goal in the 70th minute. It is forward Ciro Immobile to delight the fans with a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Patric. This is the 18th goal this season by Immobile keeping him as the top scorer, so far.

What else could go wrong for Fiorentina? Well, the own goal in the 81st minute by Cristiano Biraghi.

✅   Stats before the game.  Lazio have won six of their last eight Serie A matches against Fiorentina (1D, 1L), including the 1-0 in this season’s first leg: the last championship in which the Capitoline kept a clean sheet in both matches of the season against Viola in the competition (four games in a row on that occasion).  After the 2-0 success, thanks to Dusan Vlahovic’s brace in May 2021, Fiorentina could win two consecutive Serie A matches at Franchi against Lazio for the first time since 2009 (three on that occasion under Cesare Prandelli) .  Fiorentina have not lost in seven Serie A home games, their best unbeaten streak at Franchi in the competition since April 2017 (16 in that case) – in this set Viola have won six matches (1D), scoring 25 goals ( 3.6 average per match). Lazio have not conceded a goal in their last two league games (3-0 v Salernitana and 0-0 v Atalanta): the last longest clean sheet streak for the Biancocelesti in the competition dates back to March 2015, when they reached four of ranks in the management of Stefano Pioli.
