Fiorentina are on a sprint race to climb to the top 6 positions and won the Serie A Week 24 game on Sunday 11 February 2024 at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy. Surely, a big celebration at the Franchi, both for the goal and for three very important points in the fight to reach the European zone. With this success, Fiorentina reached to 37 points, provisionally two away from the Champions League zone (Atalanta at 39, but with one game less). Frosinone instead suffered defeat number 13 in this Serie A and continued the away nightmare: 12 games, zero wins, three draws and nine defeats.

Fiorentina came to this match after two defeats in a row and, in 2024 in the championship, they have only won one point (2-2 against Udinese) out of 15 available. Nightmare start to the year for Viola, who however boast a very good performance record at home, having won 20 points (out of 33) and despite the knockout. against Inter (0-1) in the last match at the Franchi before today.
