Atalanta coming from behind to win the Serie A Week 24 game defeating AS Roma on Saturday 15 February 2020 at the Atleti Azzurri D’Italia Stadium in Bergamo, Italy.  It is a major step back for Roma on their quest to reach the top 3 positions.  Atalanta reaching 45 points remain in the 4th position while Roma with 39 points is now below -6 points.

AS Roma opening the score in the 45th minute just before ending the first half.  It is forward Edin Dzeko to defeat Atalanta goalkeeper with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.  This is the 11th goal by Dzeko this season.

 

Atalanta equalizing for the 1-1 in the 50th minute.   It is José Luis Palomino to defeat AS Roma goalkeeper from close range with a left footed shot in the bottom left corner. The assist is by Berat Djimsiti following a corner conceded by Leonardo Spinazzola.

Surprise, surprise, Atalanta taking the lead in the 59th minute.  The party is set for the fans overturning the result.  It is Mario Pasalic to score the winner goal with a right footed shot in the top right corner. The assist is by Robin Gosens.
