Genoa, 19th position with 13 points and a negative goal difference of -25

Roma failed to win the Serie A Week 24 game against Genoa on Saturday 5 February 2022 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Genoa, Italy.  The verdict is a goalless draw sharing one point each.  Roma having the goal by forward Niccolo Zaniolo ruled out in the 93rd minute after a VAR review. On top, Zaniolo gets a red card in the 95th minute.

Roma getting a draw for the third time in this championship, remain sixth at 39 points and are forced to watch their backs, as they can be joined by Lazio and Fiorentina, opponents in this round of the championship.  Good point, however, for Genoa, which gnaws ground at the fourth-last Venice and arrives with the wind in its sails for the next match against Salernitana.
