Hellas Verona win the Serie A Week 22 game defeating Sassuolo on Sunday 16 January 2022 at the Mapei Stadium in Sassuolo, Italy. Hellas Verona returns to victory reaching 30 points and overtaking Sassuolo which remains at 28 points.  This is a special victory because Antonín Barák scores the first hat trick in Verona’s history.   Sassuolo twice tried to reopen, with the goals of Scamacca and Defrel, but did not find the way to the draw.
