✅    Stats before the game: After the two draws of the 1947/48 season, Napoli won both meetings with Salernitana in Serie A, registered in the last championship (1-0 at Arechi, 4-1 at Maradona). Napoli have won six of the last seven Serie A derbies played away from Campania (D1), collecting six clean sheets in this partial (Avellino, Benevento and Salernitana were the teams faced). From the beginning of November to today, only Sassuolo (one) has collected fewer points in Serie A than Salernitana (two, the result of two draws and four defeats in the last six games played); the bells in this partial also have the worst defense of the tournament (18 goals conceded). Napoli have collected 47 points so far: in the era of three points for a win (since 94/95) and excluding 2005/06, only three times have a team reached 50 points in the first 19 games played: Juventus 53 in 2018 /19, Juventus 52 in 2013/14 and Inter 51 in 2006/07 (all teams winning the title at the end of the season). Napoli – including the 5-1 against Juventus – have scored at least four goals in five different Serie A matches 22/23 (already equaling the total number of times Spalletti had managed it in 2021/22 ); only Bayern Munich (six times) have done better in the top five current European tournaments.
