Torino, 9th position with 20 points and a negative goal difference of -1

AS Roma failed to win the Serie A Week 15 game against Torino ending with a draw on Sunday 13 November 2022 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy. Roma had the chance to score though Andrea Belotti misses by hitting the post.  Roma struggled until the end to equalize the game in the 94th minute with a goal by Nemanja Matic.  Torino, fresh from the home victory against Sampdoria, was looking for continuity in the results. The climate at the Giallorossi home was not entirely calm after the Karsdorp case, which broke out following the statements of Mourinho, with the player upset and some fans who would have waited for him under the house.

In the next round, Roma will play at home against Bologna, while Torino will host Hellas Verona.

Torino silenced the Olimpico by opening the score in the 55th minute. Karol Linetty defeated AS Roma goalkeeper Rui Patricio with a headed shot to the top left corner. The assist is by Stephane Singo.

✅  Stats before the game. The last draw in Serie A between Rome and Turin dates back to 5 December 2015, when Maxi López replied on a penalty in injury time to the net from a direct free kick from Miralem Pjanic – since then 10 Giallorossi and three grenade successes in the competition. Roma missed the appointment with the goal only in one of the last 23 Serie A matches against Torino: 0-2 signed by the yellow and red hour Andrea Belotti on 5 January 2020. Roma have won 15 of their last 17 Serie A home matches against Torino, with two defeats to complete the set – the last draw at the Olimpico between these two teams dates back to March 1995, when Carlo Mazzone and Nedo sat on the two benches. Sonnets. Roma have lost their last two home league games and haven’t reached three consecutive defeats in the competition at home since April 2005, when Bruno Conti sat on the bench. Roma could run out of goals for three consecutive Serie A home games for the first time since September 2005, while only on one occasion have they lost three consecutive home matches without finding a goal: between January and February 1994, under Carlo Mazzone.
