Juventus with a sprint race to keep up the race with Inter won the Serie A Week 12 game Saturday 11 November 2023 at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, Italy. Juventus with five consecutive victories after the 0-0 draw against Atalanta. In the next round, Juventus will play against Inter in the Derby d’Italia. Cagliari currently remained in fourth-to-last place with 9 points.

It all happened in the second half and the goals all come from the defenders. The first goal arrived in the 60th minute with Kostic who crossed a free kick towards the far post where Bremer broke away very well and put it into the net towards the left post. The second goal came in the 70th minute with Kostic who this time crossed it to the center from a corner and Rugani first hit the crossbar, then put it into the net with his chest. In the 75th minute, Dossena’s goal arrives, again from a corner assisted by Jankto, who heads the ball into the net at the far post without giving Szczesny a chance.  Dossena scored his first goal with Cagliari.

Juventus opened the score in the 60th minute. Gleison Bremer defeated Cagliari goalkeeper with a headed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Filip Kostic.

Juventus with another goal in the 69th minute. Daniele Rugani scored from very close range to the bottom left corner following a corner conceded by Simone Scuffet.

Cagliari shortened the distance in the 74th minute. Alberto Dossena defeated Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny with a headed shot to the top right corner. The assist is by Jakub Jankto following a corner conceded by Bremer.

✅   Stats before the game: In the last five matches between Juventus and Cagliari there have been four victories for the Bianconeri and only one for the Rossoblù (at Sant’Elia). An interesting fact concerns the coaches: Cagliari’s last victory against Juventus in Turin was in 2009 3-2, when Allegri sat on the Cagliari bench and Ranieri sat on the Juventus bench.
