The great Milan Derby ends with a draw!  AC Milan  and Inter failing to win the Serie A Week 12 game on Sunday 7 November 2021 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.  AC Milan playing  a Serie A Derby with at least seven points ahead of Inter in the standings for the first time since November 2016 – on that eve the Rossoneri from Vincenzo Montella had 8 points more than the Nerazzurri coached by Stefano Pioli and the match ended 2- 2.  AC Milan have won 10 of their first 11 matches of the season for the first time in their history in Serie A, including all of their last seven matches – it is since September 2006 that the Rossoneri have not struck consecutive league successes (nine in that case with Carlo Ancelotti on the bench).
