Hello my friends.  Here is the Serie A ROUNDUP for
the
Serie A Week 32, 2013 – 2014 Season on Saturday 5, Sunday 6, and Monday 7
April
2014, matchday 32.   Countdown my friends!  6 more games after this
Round and the 2013 – 2014 Serie A will end on May 18!

The VERONA DERBY with a special twist seeing the ex player Eugenio Corini from Chievo and Hellas now coaching Chievo.  Coach Corini played for  Hellas Verona from 1996 to 1998 making 46 appearances and playing
for Chievo Verona from 1998 to 2003 making 134 appearances.  Hellas Verona win the Derby thanks to forward Luca Toni opening the score in the 65th minute.

Inter – Bologna.  Inter opening the score in the 6th minute with forward Mauro Icardi after the assist by defender Yuto Nagatomo.   Bologna equalizing in the 36th minute with the goal by midfielder Michele Pazienza.  The joy for Inter fans arriving in the 63rd minute with the goal, again, by Icardi to take back the lead.   Game ending with Bologna reacting to equalize the game in the 73rd minute. It’s a disappointment for Inter failing again to win the home game.  Inter got their first penalty this season and forward Diego Milito failing to convert it because Bologna goalkeeper Gianluca Curci saved in the center!

Close follow up for the games Juventus vs Livorno and Cagliari vs AS Roma.  The top 3 positions not changing this week despite the results. Juventus will continue in the 1st place with 84 points, AS Roma in the 2nd place with 76 points and Napoli in the 3rd place with 64 points.   The gap between Juve and Roma are of +8 points advantage for Juventus.  The gap between Napoli in the 3rd position with Fiorentina in the 4th position are of +12 points for Fiorentina.  Juventus defeating Livorno thanks to forward Fernando Llorente scoring 2 goals in the 32nd and 35th minute.

Bad news are in relegation zone.  Catania 1 – 2 Torino.  Catania sacking coach Rolando Maran after losing the home game against Torino.  It’s a black crisis for Catania because they remain in the last position with only 20 points and practically ready for relegation in Serie B.  Mara is replaced by coach Maurizio Pellegrino.

Another sacking is Cagliari coach Diego Lopez.  Cagliari losing the home game at the Sant’Elia Stadium against AS Roma. Cagliari 1 – 3 AS Roma.  Coach Ivo Pulga is replacing Diego Lopez.  Problem for Cagliari with only 32 points being 7 points above the relegation zone.
