Hello my friends.  Here is the Serie A ROUNDUP for
the
Serie A Week 26, 2013 – 2014 Season on  Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 March
2014, matchday 26.

Hail to the great one!  It’s an absolute victory for Juventus defeating AC Milan at the San Siro Stadium.  Juventus keeping the one way flight to the third Scudetto observing everybody from above.  Despite all the efforts by AC Milan, they could not find the way to the goal.  Heroes for Juventus are forwards Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez scoring the 2 goals of the match.  Juventus again confirming their dominion in Serie A, nothing else to say.

The first blow is for AS Roma unable to defeat Inter at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium.  Roma were obligated to win the home game to keep up the race for the Scudetto with Juventus.  This draw gives only 1 point to Roma reaching 58 points and might see the gap with Juventus to -11.  Roma did score a goal, but Referee Bergonzi ruled it out because forward Mattia Destro was caught offside.

Inter also failing to defeat AS Roma and their chances to keep the 5th position with 41 points.  Hellas Verona failed to take back the 5th position after the 0-0 draw against Bologna at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium remaining with 40 points.  There is only 1 point difference with Inter.  Next Round will be a battle for both teams.  Hellas Verona lost the 6th position and went down to the 7th position.  Parma taking over the 6th position after defeating Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium.

Cagliari with an important home game victory defeating Udinese with a 3-0 final score!   Udinese unable to react while Cagliari rejoicing the climbing of the Table.  The first goals in Serie A for Cagliari, Mattias Vecino and Agim Ibraimi.   Udinese went down from the 12th to the 15th position while Cagliari climb a step from the 15th to the 14th position.

Hellas Verona – Bologna, a great save by Verona goalkeeper Rafael saving the penalty by Rolando Bianchi keeping the 0-0 in the 47th minute.

I will update this page with the results
