Hello my friends.  Here is the Serie A ROUNDUP for
the
Serie A Week 20, 2013 – 2014 Season on  Saturday 18 and Sunday 19
January 2014, matchday 20.    

Serie A seeing again the super Juventus achieving another record.  Juventus winning their 12th consecutive game after defeating Livorno, Juventus 4 – 2 Sampdoria.    Juventus confirming their dominion as sole leaders of the Serie A with 55 points keeping the advantage of +8 points ahead of AS Roma who are in the second place.
 

AS Roma keeping the race for the Scudetto alive.  Roma defeating Livorno with a crashing victory: AS Roma 3 – 0 Livorno  It’s a bad debut for Livorno coach Perotti who replaced coach Davide Nicola.  Livoro remaining in the relegation zone.

Lazio making a comeback and defeat Udinese.  Lazio being down and then claiming the full 3 points with only 10 players.

Highlight of the game, Catania 0 – 3 Fiorentina, seeing the great debut of new Fiorentina player Alessandro Matri who transferred from AC Milan.  Matri not only scoring 2 goals, but also providing the assist for Fernandez’ goal.

AC Milan coach Clarence Seedorf debuts with a victory in San Siro defeating Hellas Verona.  It is forward Mario Balotelli who converts a penalty in the 82nd minute.  The penalty conceded by Verona defender Alejandro Gonzalez for a foul  on Kaka bringing him down.

Here is the situation. Juventus in the 1st position with 55 points and a
positive goal difference of +36. AS Roma in the 2nd position with 47 points and a positive goal difference of +32.   Napoli in the 3rd position with 43 points and a positive goal difference of +21.

The Europa League zone.  Fiorentina in the 4th position with 40 points and a positive goal difference of +17.  Inter in the 5th position with 32 points and a positive goal difference of +14.

Relegation Zone:  Sassuolo in the 18th position with 17 points and a negative goal difference of -22.  Livorno in the 19th position with 13 points and a negative goal difference of -20  Catania in the 20th position with 13 points and a negative goal difference of -24.
