A duel for salvation.  Sampdoria and Palermo  having only 1 point difference and the need to win the match was urgent.   Simply put, a cruel  way to end this game with a draw for Palermo conceding the equalizer goal in the agonizing 95th  minute.   Palermo had it so close to grab those 3 points and it crashed at the end.

Palermo opening the score in the 60th minute.  It is Ilija Nestoroski to silence the Ferraris Stadium defeating goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano with a left footed shot in the bottom right corner.   The assist is by Haitam Aleesami.

Tough luck for Palermo!!!  Referee giving a second yellow card to Alessandro Gazzi  making it for the automatic red card in the 92nd minute.

Sampdoria reviving and grabbing the equalizer goal in the 95th minute corner conceded by goalkeeper Josip Posavec.    It is Bruno Fernandes to smack a right footed shot in the top right corner crashing Palermo’s hope to claim a victory.
