It’s been a tough start for Italy’s Champions finding themselves down in the 15th position with just 1 victory this season.  The wake up call is urgent for Juventus to start winning as the dream to win their 5th Consecutive Scudetto seems now an impossible dream considering the big gap with Fiorentina and Inter in the first position having 15 points.  On paper, Juventus favorite to win, but, nowadays, we never know….

Surprise, surprise…. Bologna freezing the Juventus stadium!   Imagine, just in the 5th minute and Bologna opening the score.  Forward Anthony Mounier making his way to deliver a left footed shot defeating Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon inthe center,  The assist is by defender Adam Masina.

Juventus equalizing in the 33rd minute.  It is forward Alvaro Morata to score defeating Bologna goalkeeper Antonio Mirante with a headed shot in the center.

Referee Domenico Celi gives a penalty to Juventus.  In the 52nd minute Bologna defender Alex Ferrari concedes the penalty after a foul on Alvaro Morata.   Taking the penalty spot is forward Paulo Dybala while taking a brief pause to concentrate and BAM!  Dybale defeat goalkeeper Mirante with a left footed shot in the bottom left corner while Mirante went to the opposite direction.

Say no more, Juventus are now energized and reacting in big style.  In the 63rd minute a historical goal.  It is new Juventus player Sami Khedira to score his fist goal with Juve defeating goalkeeper Mirante with a headed shot in the bottom left corner.  The assist is by Morata.

Bologna also in deep trouble with only 1 victory and in the last position.  Here is the interesting detail.. there are only 2 points difference between the two!  It seems incredible to see the giant Juventus struggling!  Let’s put it this way, hopefully, Juventus are now more than motivated to resume a winning path after defeating Sevilla in the Champions League Group Stage, ending Juventus 2 – 0 Sevilla.

There are 68 precedents between Juventus vs Bologna.  Stats showing Juventus with 38 wins, 25 draws, and Bologna with 5 wins.
