Juventus celebrating at the Allianz Stadium winning their 7th consecutive Scudetto. Juventus crowned as Italy’s Champions winning the 2017-2018 Serie A Scudetto. It’s a match to remember for many reasons not only for the Scudetto, but also because it was the last game of the great goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon after 17 years with the Bianconeri and 640th Serie A appearance.   Sadly, Buffon retiring, a date to mark on the calendar Saturday 19 May 2018 at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, Italy.  Another one saying goodbye to Juventus was defender Stephan Lichsteiner.

Surely, it was an emotional match, a historical game to remember. In the 62nd minute, it was the time to salute the great Juventus Captain and goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. Coach Massimiliano Allegri substituting Buffon to give him time to salute the fans who were just overwhelmingly touched and some even crying while saying good bye to Buffon. Sour note for Hellas Verona not only losing the game, but also relegated to the Serie B for the next 2018-2019 season.

The final score Juventus 2 – 1 Hellas Verona. Goals for Juventus scored by Daniele Rugani and midfielder Miralem Pjanic. The honor goal for Hellas Verona scored by forward Alessio Cerci.
