Juventus consolidating their absolute leadership in the Serie A. It’s party time for Juventus fans seeing their team as sole leaders with 49 points after defeating Chievo Verona thanks to the goals by midfielder Paul Pogba and defender Stephan Lichsteiner. Chievo remain in the relegation zone and the call for wake up is urgent.
A sour note is the upset of Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal reacting badly after being substituted in the 62nd minute with defender Lichtsteiner. Vidal making his disappointment obvious.
Chievo Verona put up a strong front, but it collapsed in the 60th minute when Juventus opened the score. It is midfielder Paul Pogba to score defeating goalkeeper Albano Bizarri with a left footed shot in the bottom left corner. It’s the 6th goal by Pogba this season. The assist is by forward Carlos Tevez.
Second goal of the match is by Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner delighting the fans in the 73rd minute with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.
