Party time for Juventus seeing the Scudetto closer. Juventus sole leader and motivation high after being the sole Serie A team qualifying in Champions League Quarterfinals. It is forward Carlos Tevez to score the only goal of the match enough to grab the victory. Simply put, guys, it is almost clear that Juventus already won this Scudetto having a +17 lead over Roma holding the second position with 50 points.
Tevez opening the score in the 25th minute defeating Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin with a right footed shot in the top right corner. The assist is by midfielder Roberto Pereyra. It’s the 16th goal of the season for Tevez.
Genoa ending with 10 players after goalkeeper Perin had to be substituted for a shoulder injury in the 52nd minute. Perin replaced by goalkeeper Eugenio Lamanna.
Referee Di Bello giving a penalty to Juventus conceded by Genoa defender Facundo Roncaglia after a foul on midfielder Pereyra. An unthinkable moment… It is Tevez to take the penalty spot and guess what? What? Goalkeeper Lamanna saving!!!! Yep, Lamanna saying no to Tevez who fails to convert the penalty in the 62nd minute.
