Lazio causing an upset at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium!   A golden draw helping Lazio jumped from the 6th to the 3rd position overtaking AC Milan who now fall in the 4th position.

It is Lazio forward Senad Lulic to open the score in the 38th minute defeating Hellas Verona goalkeeper Rafael with a right footed shot in the center.

A blow for Lazio because in the 68th minute Referee Irrati gives a penalty to Hellas Verona conceded by Lazio defender Luis Cavanda after a foul on Verona forward Gomez.   Here is the situation. It’s the second yellow card for Cavanda , so, he gets the automatic red card leaving Lazio with 10 players!   Taking the penalty spot is Verona forward Luca Toni who without a problem converts the penalty with a right footed shot defeating Lazio goalkeeper Federico Marchetti in the bottom left corner.   It’s the second goal for Luca Toni this season.
