Hellas Verona and Bologna starting the 2019 – 2020 Season. It was an emotional game for Bologna fans seeing Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic leading the team. Mihajovic left the hospital, where he is being treated for leukemia, to be present lifting the morale of the squad. All the best to Mihajlovic for a prompt recovery.
Bologna opened the score in the 15th minute. Referee Giua granted a penalty to Bologna conceded by Pawel Dawidowicz after a foul on Riccardo Orsolini. Hellas Verona remaining with 10 players because Dawidowicz got a red card. It is Nicola Sansone to convert the penalty defeating Verona goalkeeper Marco Silvestri with a right footed shot in the top left corner.

Hellas Verona equalized for the 1-1 in the 36th minute. It is Miguel Veloso to defeat Bologna goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski with a left footed free kick shot in the top right corner.
