A slop for AC Milan . It’s a major step back for Milan to keep the race for the Scudetto alive. Milan were only -2 points below Juventus with 21 points. This defeat now risking Milan to lose the third position and will be up to Juventus to increase the lead to +5 if they defeat Sampdoria tomorrow at the Juventus Stadium.
Surely, it’s a time for redeption for Genoa after losing the Derby della Lanterna against Sampdoria. Genoa have won just one of their last five games.
It’s Genoa to open the score in the 11th minute. Midfielder Nicola Ninkovic defeating AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with a headed shot in the bottom left corner. The assist is by midfielder Tomás Rincón.
AC Milan remaining with 10 players since the 56th minute after Referee Luca Banti gave him a red card following a foul on Genoa midfielderr Luca Rigoni.
Surely, Genoa fans must be in delirious cheering their players. There is anothe goal for Genoa in the 80th minute … an own goal by AC Milan Juraj Kucka!!!! It’s a no-no day for AC Milan unable to find their way to the goal….
