Genoa – Sampdoria 
A super start for the New Year 2016! Sampdoria winning the Derby della Lanterna number 111 defeating Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium. A boost to the morale of the team for a brighter 2016. Problem now is for Genoa risking to go down to the relegation zone with this defeat.

The battle continue, but the final joy is for Sampdoria. Genoa tried vainly to win the match and Pavoletti was not enough to secure the victory. In the 81st minute Pavoletti scoring again with a headed shot. The assist is by Tomás Rincón. It’s time now for Genoa to regroup and find a way to get back to victory in the upcoming games.
