Hellas Verona win the Verona Derby for the bragging rights to rule the City of Verona.  An important victory because Hellas promoted this season from Serie B defeat Chievo.  Problem for Chievo risking to fall down in the relegation zone. This is the 4th Verona Derby in Serie A seeing Chievo winning 2 and Hellas 2.  Curiously, the ex Chievo and Hellas player Eugenio Corini is the coach of Chievo now, precisely, re-starting in the Derby won 1-0.

It is Hellas Verona to open the score in the 65th minute!   Forward Luca Toni defeating Chievo goalkeeper Michael Agazzi with a left footed shot in the bottom left corner.  This is the 16th goal for Luca Toni.
