Cagliari determined and achieving a victory at the Sant’Elia Stadium.  Cagliari winning their 5th game of the season after defeating Palermo thanks to Captain Daniele Dessena scoring 2 goals.  It’s a super victory for Cagliari because they moved froom the 15th to the 9th position reaching 16 points.  Palermo crying out loud for salvation winning only 1 games this season remaining in the relegation zone.

It is Cagliari to open the score in the 53rd minute following a corner conceded by Palermo Thiago Cionek.  Midfielder Daniele Dessena defeating Palermo goalkeeper Josip Posavec with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner. Assisted by midfielder Davide Di Gennaro with a cross following a corner.  What a way to return from injury !!!!   Dessena running towards the fans section to celebrate.

Surely, things working out for Cagliari while Palermo unable to find their way to the goal.  In the 64th minute, it is again Daniele Dessena to score with a right-footed shot at the same spot in the bottom right corner.  The assist is by forward Marco Sau.

Palermo shortening the distance in the 79th minute.  It is forward Ilija Nestorovski to score the honor goal.  Nestorovski defeating Cagliari goalkeeper Marco Storari with a left footed shot in the center.  The assist is by Andrea Rispoli. This is the 5th goal of the season by Nestorovski.
